do these new 6.0's have something the 7.3's don't? I feel funny asking but do they acctually have more power? or can they be tweaked to have more power than a fully tweaked 7.3? what makes them so great compared to the ol' 7.3's?(or maybe I should say 'not' so great) this is question is strictly regarding power/performance/speed

A 7.3 with power mods like 100hp chip ehaust and so on still isnt able to keep up with 6.0, 235 hp compared to 325 and tq i dont know what 7.3's are but the 6.0is like 585-600????

6oh's can be tuned to 425 rwhp with just a chip intake and exhaust. To get a 7.3 to there your going to need to add injectors and probably a turbo upgrade aswell. Both engines have thier weak points and they are both very expensive to get big numbers out of unlike the common rail dmax and cummins.

well what are the differences that give a motor w/ smaller displacement more power??? higher quality parts? internal engine mechanical functions? what about if both motors had they're highest stage of mods what numbers would then be higher?

4 valve heads and correspondingly a much higher volumetric efficiency per CC of displacement.

I drive my 6.0 and love it, BUT you are not gonna take a Dodge with mods unless the other guy has a manual. Reality man, aint gonna happen. If you mod a Dodge and a Ford the same the Dodge will win every time, seen it a thousand times. The Ford trucks are great but the Dodges and Chevy's both can make more hp and torque without damaging their engines.....6.0's blow head gaskets if you mod them and run them hard, it's not if it's just a question of when?? I am not trying to bag on the 6.0 it's just a fact of that motor in it's stock form. Now you can change the head bolts and change the rods etc and make a better engine out of the 6.0, but stock.....No way
