Turn signal trouble...PLEASE HELP!!!

I have an 88 f150 5.8, and last night I checked the turn signals for inspection, so today after a new fuel pump relay, a new exhaust installed, I tried the turn signals again and nothing. I checked the fuse, good... I checked for voltage to the fuse, none... What is wrong? is there a link fuse or a relay I am missing? ANd where is the relay? WHat could cause this problem? Someone please give me a direction, I have to have this on the road and inspected by the second of the year... any ideas?

Thanks

Michael

I know this seems kind of obvious but, did you check the blinker module? It's a small metal cylinder that is connected right up to your interior fuse panel. On my 95 it is about the same diameter as maybe a can of film, except a little shorter. This module actually controls how quickly or slowly the blinkers will blink and also the clicking sound that it makes. I'm no expert but I would think that if it got completely toasted (or removed) then your blinkers wouldn't come on at all. Just my .02

I actually figured out what it was. I have a small short in the column and figured it out. I got itno the truck and they worked, and well, and then stopped. I hit the column in fustration, and they worked again...go figure! Oh well, a later project to play with. But it is ready for PA inspection!!!!
