Southern California chapter needs help!

Ok I hope this is ok to post here,
The So -Cal chapter needs some help to come back to life so I thought Id try to post it anywhere I can seeing as how no one seems to be stopping by there but a few of us. So.... come on by the chapter if you arent a member but want to more about it so we can get things going again.
-Chris
P.S. If this needs moved to another forum let me know where I can post it to rally some support.

Why not contact one of the local Ford Clubs...many have monthly get togethers, attend various shows, swap meets and have driving tours. If you could work out something...then you could post it here, inviting all the locals to a joint meet.

Or stage your own...like having a meet at a mall or park...

We've tried the meet thing a couple of times but it just hasnt seemed to work out really well for us. Thats why Ive been asking around for ideas tohelp the chapter out and try to bring some sort of structure to it.
Thanks for the suggestions though and I will keep looking for some other local clubs as well.

Chris, I am in the process of rebuilding the NY Chapter and all I can tell you is to be patient because it will not happen overnight. I have been the CL since July and we have had only one G2G where only two of us showed. We are trying to get another one going now, but with the holidays coming and the winter weather it probably will not happen until the early part of next year. Just don't get discouraged and things will come together in time.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Ive been CL since mid last year or so and weve had a couple G2G's but it seemed like it just kinda trailed off.
Anyway thanks again,

Lets Hold a meet at Barstow Station. It's right in-between Vegas and SoCal. If you want to, let me know!

Maybe get a tie in with SoCal Galaxies which meet monthly in Orange County for breakfast, and have something going every month. They have a website, also.

Non members are welcome....and these Galaxie guys are hard core Ford owners!

Jason's suggestion is a good one. I stay in contact with several of the CL's in surrounding chapters and we encourage cross posting and joint G2G's. Nothing has happened yet, but it has gotten members talking to one another and I am sure at some point we will all meet up. Good luck Bill in rebuilding your chapter.

Ya know with temps in the upper 70's during the day and going as low as the 40's out here it almost qualifies us for white out conditions by California standards .. but feel free to stop by, like I said afterall thats what these site run on is conversation.
