thats funny...i saw that also. the one guy is leaning pretty good.
Haha. Wow. I didn't even notice how weird that picture was until you guys said something. That guy leaning weird is the dude I bought the trailer from. I was still checking it out in that picture. That's always gonna bug me now. Haha.
We just bought our first travel trailer, a 2011 heartland 26'. One slideout, it weights 6500 dry, with a rated GVW of 10400. I figure it's around 8000 the way I tow it, which was too much for my '07 F150. I bought a 2011 F250 6.2l two weeks ago, problem solved.
SLE, the cruise at 85mph is easy to do when you get in with the semi's up and down I-81 to Canada, have cobra radar and twin whips with Galaxy radio to talk with Big brothers, but overall this speed is reserved for 1am-5am when everyone else is asleep or off the interstate. Normal cruising speed is at 74mph.
Regards
the traffic ticket is not the concern, it's the fact that you have your wife and kids with you when traveling at that velocity. a blowout at 85mph or an avoidance maneuver would be the concern with kids in the vehicle, that is it, just remember you have some precious cargo with you.
82x24' Base was 4365.00
7000# Torflex Upgrade 390.00
Full length 5" Torque tube -550.00 ( it's a stiff SOB -but I haul 8500# Skid Steer/attachments)
