hauled a little scrap today. its a 250 gal diesel tank and on the trailer is my 82 demo car with a s10 drive train on top.
then on the way this bad boy passed me. talked to the follow truck and its a press for making train parts. 98 ft long and 556,000 lbs!!!!! (this is only half it!)
it had a second truck pushing it with a large rod on the back. very slow but impressive

I'm thinking that the two straps, which are rated at 10,000 breaking and I think 5500 working load limit a piece, can probably handle the 2500 pounds of the tractor. But I know what your talking about. I've thought about chaining it down as it's probably Illegal here in NC also.

Here is my new to me 2007 24' Haulmark car trailer that I purchased from a fellow member on here. I haven't done gauges or a gear swap in my F350 yet, so I didn't feel comftorable doing the 600 mile trip to pick up the trailer with it, but i was able to snag a F150 from U-Haul. Have to say, the F150 did pretty well with it even on the hills, but the tranny temp gauge was pretty hot the whole way home.

Yep, love them. I have the Airlift 5K lb bags. I ran mine a little over normal, maybe 45 lbs and it seemed to help with my front end bouncing. Calmed it down a bit. I need to get these V codes installed and that will help it for sure. What psi do you run when towing?
