A great upgrade is to go to the 9005 bulbs in your foglights. I did the homework on it almost two years ago and put the 9005s in both my '03 Cobra fogs and my '05 Excursion. Huge improvement. Very slight increase is power usage, but by no means dangerous or the like.
Is this what you are looking for?

9005's are a direst-fit replacement, they go into the stock lamp-housings and hook right up to the stock harness.

Sileverstar 9005's are amazingly brighter, I have had 'em for two years and 35K miles, run them as daytime lights and did the 15minute mod so they stay on with my highbeams. Very happy.

Merry Christmas!

I used http://hirheadlights.com/ these on my Suburban and they were certainly brighter than stock, but used the same or less current. I don't know if they have a size for our truck or not. EDIT They have the 9005, which would fit our fogs. These use same wattage, but generate less heat than stock. You have to trim them down with fingernail clipper. Easy.
