So far mine loks OK... I have sprayed enough washer fluid to test and it cleans 100% of the area. From the interior it "looks" like what your commenting about... but from the outside... it cleans it just fine. Even if a small section at the very bottom is missed, it still cleans the rest of the windshield... but again... I'm not having that problem.

By the way... since I drive an Excursion, I needed a rear-window wiper blade as well and upgraded from a 16" to a 17" wiper blade. Not much of a visible improvement... but it makes me feel good about upgrading it anyway!!!

There goes your warranty....right out the window.

The additional surface area drag will 'cause undue stresses on the wiper motors thereby causing them to fail. This is turn will likely cause a short your electrical system causing a FICM failure. This in turn will surely cause your exhaust bearings to fail and your turbo to...well...you get the picture.

Modifications kill warranties. Better be sure to put the stock blades back on before you take it into the dealer.

hey does that mean i need to put the stock lugnuts back on before i go in for an oil change... i mean i could seem like the "aftermarket" one's made the truck work the oil harder there fore meaning i had to get the oil changed earlier then recomended

Another satisfied customer....

Wow... you had rain and I had to squirt a whole gallon of washer fluid just to watch and see if the larger blades worked!!! Dam... $1.39 down the drain... but I do have the cleanest windshield in town!!!!

By the way.... I am well past the 3/36 warrenty... so I was not worried about voiding it - thanks Keith (KW) for getting this thread of topic... you funny guy.

Great info Jeff, thanks for posting. It 'never' rains in So Cal but my PSD is coming up on 2 years old so I guess they're due for replacement.

I'll keep the stock wipers in case of warranty work....

LOL...I don't think anybody would even notice 24" blades. But don't get cocky, if you go in with dual 24's with 36 green L.E.D.'s on each blade and 3" wings to hold 'em tight aginst the windshield in a tornado, your tech might just have a hissyfit and deny your claim!

I've been using 24" blades for a year now. Love them. Haven't had any issues with them being too big or anything like that. They clear the whole windshield and leave the tiniest of shark fins on the bottom in between them.

In fact, just bought a new pair a couple weeks ago to replace the current ones... which are still doing fine, so I guess I've got an extra pair for a while.

Whatever brand anyone gets, go for the 24" blades.

But how do you avoid the dreaded windshield wobble?
