'57-58' vs '59-'60 Front Fenders
Can anyone tell me if the only reason the 57-8 and the 59-60 front fenders will not interchange is because of the park/turn lamps in the front.Or will they simply not bolt back in place?
I have a 57 and can find many 59 parts, will I be able to keep my 57 grille if i could swap the two front fenders?
Will the interior parts interchange ie. headliner, speedometer etc?
Many thanks James
P.S. Anyone interested in a working original 59 round radio?
A 292 v-8 w/ original automatic trans?
E-mail me with any info. JamesBullman(No Email Addresses In Posts!)

well, the only diff between the 57-58 and the 59-60 is that the turn signals were round, the rectangular. the only diff. the grille will bolt on any year fender(57-60) in fact, you could use 59-60 fenders with slight modifications. but if you dont want to mess with it, just stick with the 57-58 fenders if you have round turn signals, and 59-60 fenders if you have rectanular turn signal. it bolts the same like all other years(57-60). you dont have to worry about anything else. hope this helps.

'57-58' vs '59-'60 Front Fenders
I live in the great state of Tennessee, near Knoxville.
If someone can set me up with a passenger front fender for a 57,I won't have to deal with changing to 59 fenders. I have the 59 fenders and can't find a fender for my 57. So anyway, I could always change the style of turn signals in the front in case I use the 59 fenders.
Many thanks, James

James,
I have a 57 that I have had to replace the drivers front fender on. I was very excited to find that there was a junk yard just "100 MILES" from my house that had a few of these trucks. I got the new one home and installed it; then stepped back to marvel in my work. I had a fender off of a 59! Imagine my feelings!! I did cut the front section off of my old fender (it was in good shape - the back half was beat up) and welded it on the new. Instead of driving off, I tore into a total frame off rebuild. That was 4 years ago and it still won't go under its own power.
