5-speed swap

I have a line on a ZF 5-speed out of a 88 F350. It was bolted up to a 460. Will the tranny and transfer case bolt up in my 90 Bronco? I don't remember bell-housing bolt patters (what will bolt up to what). If memory serves the 385 series is different than the 5.0L. Can I bolt up my orignal transfer case to the ZF? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can't use a big block transmission behind a small block eng. The bolt pattern on the bellhousing is different. You need to find a ZF from a 300 6cyl. eng. or a 351 winsor eng. The ZF pictured below is from a 1990 F250 with a 351 eng. It's eventually going behind my 302.
