This is the first 4x4 that I have owned, and I am just curious what speeds I can go into/out of 4Hi. I know going in and out of 4 Lo, you have to be basically stopped, or going extremely slow, but what about 4 Hi? What is the top speed to drive in 4 Hi?
Also make sure you are not on dry pavement or surface that will prevent some slippage needed for 4wd. To go to 4wd low you have to fully stop,, neutral, brake on, then select 4wd low. Warning,, you will get stuck if you use this due to limited speed. It is for pulling really heavy loads when traction is marginal. Use 4wd HI for 99 % of your 4wd needs. Jim

Another use of 4x4 low is for very slowly descending icy or muddy hills without having to use the brakes. You'll have much better control.
