Angry AOD is dead need new tranny info

My aod tranny is leaking at the pump so it is time to swap it out for a c6. I know I will be sacrficing mileage, but i feel the c6 is a stouter tranny and I plan to use one with a manual shift transfer case so my questions are, 1. will my current driveshafts be reuseable? 2. if not will the other driveshafts match up to my diffs front and rear?

Will the other driveshafts match up at the diffs(are the u-joints gonna fit my pinion yokes)? Also what is the difference in the driveshafts length or bolt up to the case or both. If it is length I can cut and weld these. and thanks for the fast response.

When I was searching for drive shafts for c-6 in my bronco I got the driveshafts out of a bronco that had a c-6. You may luck out and actually find a bronco that is an 88 that has the transmission and driveshafts all in place.

well...going from an AOD to a C6 my driveshafts fit. Now my problem is that my C6 (I personally built to handle a BIG beating) decided it wanted to spit a thrust bearing in the pan, and I have NO idea how long it has been there. It shifted fine last time (2 years ago) that I drove it...and had about 10,000 miles on it. SIgh...****ing C6
