53 F100 Door Problems
Howdy!
I have a 53 F100, and am having a couple of problems with the door. First, the drivers door won't stay closed. It seems like the gear on the door turns BOTH ways. The passenger door seems to only turn one way. The latch on the door frame has been replaced and seems to align pretty good.
The second problem is-the window won't stay up. The handle/crank works, but the window falls down a few inches (and the crank spins along with it).
I've called a couple of the Ford repo parts places, and they have been no help at all - only saying that I could 'try' to replace this part or that one, and see if it fixes it. Can anyone out there head me in the right direction?
