2005 speedometer error.

2005 speedometer error.
Hi,
I always felt like this truck had no sensation of speed, so I suspected the speedometer was in error. So doing the simple thing, I drove over a measured distance on the hwy, and compared the odometer. It was correct.
Drove it around a little more, and decided it was still lying to me. So I measured time over distance this time. I repeated the test several times and the speedo is in error by 9%, but my odometer is correct..... How can this be?
So when I'm cruising at 110km/hr the truck is actually doing 100.
