Did you buy them something big and noisy for Xmas? We always made sure we bought all 3 of my brother's kids something that made a lot of noise each year when they were younger.

Last year I bought my oldest daughters youngest son a drum set. She thinks I'm crazy but she's payin for her raisin. As the old saying goes. The other 2 got battery op fire engines. Same with my youngest daughter she has 3 boys to. They love me so much at X-Mas. It's Mostly my son that does it He's 16 and gets a kick out of it.

When my kids were young I learned how to quiet down those loud battery operated toys...."sure son, you can take that into the bathtub. It will be a great toy for the tub"

Works almost every time. One year I made my brothers kids some homemade toys, they were very loud, lots of clanging, banging, and bells......and not a battery in sight (hahahahahahha) he got be back the next year at X-mas.

Now my sister has 2 small girls (4 and 2) that I babysit alot......I saw a percussion instrument kit at the store the other day, small drum. cymbals, some rattly thingies, and a the like.....I'm going to have to get it for the girls......

Ahh, its the little things in life

You guys have all the fun.

My weekend sucked worse than was planned.

I am OK now, but Saturday I had another heart attack while on dialysis. Over the course of the next few days they did a lot of test and put two stints in my heart. I was released from the hospital tonight. No major damage, but I will be down doing nothing for a few days.

Holy crap! "A few days"? Take it easy and get yourself fixed up good! That's serious stuff. Hope you have a full recovery!

Ouch Brian, that does suck. I'd say take it easy for a while, but sometimes that's more stressful. My wife was on bedrest 2 1/2 months when pregnant, and she's normally a busy-body, and it darn near made her insane (moreso than usual). Hang in there!

I finally got my basement garage and adjoining room "restoration" done. I rebuilt my truck in the garage, including paint, and over the course of time the garage got filthy, dust and paint everywhere, lost tools, and the finished room next to it had suffered too. Got the garage floor painted, walls paneled and painted, tools put up, the carpet in the other room scrubbed and walls painted, everything's clean again, beer fridge re-stocked...now I can play Xbox again and have the oversized garage ready for the honey-do projects.
