Winter projects?

What are you guys working on in the garage this winter?...................We are building a new 2.3 Ford 4 for my buddy's 83 Ranger 4x4................Lots of nice aftermarket parts for it, a lot more than were avail. for my 2.8 v6. Since its not a daily driver, we have time to do it right!...............What kind of "garage money holes" are you guys working on?

I have two projects to do this winter. The first is to bring in my 73 HiBoy chassis and remove 16" from the middle of the frame, weld it back together and install my 53 FORD panel onto the shortened frame. Then I have to paint the top of the hull on my 16' Sidewinder ski boat with the new red metal flake, and install the new 200hp in-line 6 into it. I'd like to have both ready for a GTG on the Columbia River this summer.........

Bikini's and water skiing, is there anything better!

I'm working on the rubber around the windows of my 66. The antirattle kits are a real pain.

My B2 project fell thru when my wife took ill, I just wish I could find a decent 84-88 B2 to restore with no major mods and drive................My 15 yr old Daughter is taking over my 84 Ranger 4X4 V6 a little bit at a time.........She hates cars, and only wants a 4x4 truck.

You may have to pull the bolt holes a little with a die grinder, works wonders.

Air powered straight grinder with a carbide burr tip, does about 22,000rpms. Will elongate any bolt hole to make up for error in bolt pattern.

Are you building one or restoring one?..........1 guy I knew just rented a big storage unit over the winter to work on his boat and truck. It had power and he brought in lights, worked very well.

got the tail pipes done and sealed up now just have to get the passenger side header to seat up they just won't seal up not sure if there may be something wrong with the header surfaces to the head will probably take it back apart and look at the gaskets that i just put in and look at the problem hope nothing that i can't handle
