What's the consensus on the best(s) savlave yards in the Victoria/Lower Vancouver Island area. They aren't too many..

I only know of 3 total.
FRom what I understand The best ones are towards Surrey....& Chilliwack

All depends what your looking for. Chilliwack has a cool pickapart, and in abbotsford theres a cool autowreckers down the road that goes to sumas.

Nice I didnt know there was a dedicated used ford parts store, what are the prices like?

 

They seem to usually be pretty reasonable.

 

Ceegee`s looks like my kind of place, an all Ford wrecking yard.

 

Although who would want to wreck a ford right morris!

 

We do need to find used Ford parts though.

 

If you're looking for old trucks, try small old yards in the boonies, like Stave Lake or Point Roberts or Coombs (on the island).

 

We have two wrecking yards here in Powell River, if you can't find something I could look around here, get prices etc.

check out Wasney Ford in Burnaby . there in the yellow pages . Exclusive used ford parts , good bunch of guys there . if you are quoted over the phone remember who you spoke to cuz ya may get a different rate when ya go there . also , Chilliwack has a new yard in the works up Cultus lake rd. called "U pick" , owned by a long termer in the wack "Ideal Autowrecking" . Opened this pick a part concept yard in Jan. 03/07 .
