99 F150 Transmission Ranger Sensor problems

I really need some help! I got a code of P0705 TR Sensor Malfunction, so I changed the sensor and did exactly what the manual said in order to replace it. My problem is this, it didn't help.... I checked the wiring and its all good. Recently I also had to replace the battery and then the starter in the same day. I am at the breaking point with this truck. It only has 70k miles and everything I have replaced so far was all factory, including the plugs and coil packs. If anyone can help me figure out what to do I would really appreciate it... The dealers want to do diagnostics which to me is a waste of money and my time since I know what the code is and they want $75.00 just to change the part for me, which means another $50 for a new part again. Please Please someone give me some ideas on this...

Thanks,
Tami

See the other thread you posted in.

It is helpful if you keep everything in a single thread instead of "spreading it around"...
