I am looking to buy a bronco in the last year modle they made them. I have a 79 bronco that i love but cant afford to drive it too far because of the 400 ci motor. But i am wondering what kind of milage people see in these broncos without motor problems or transmission problems. Thanks for any help

11-14 depending on your foot
I have a 302 5 speed and get near 12 in town but I am not real nice to it I like using all 8 cylinders when merging with traffic. I have seen close to 14 on long flat trips 60-65 mhp

My 92 w/ 5.0 & auto got a steady 10-11 in town, and up to 20 on the open road, usually more like 17-18 but I had to nurse it. It did like to run fast though, due to high gears, 3.55's.

I've had 4 broncos 1- 5.8 auto 3- 5.0 all auto 3.55 rears 200000+ miles Mpg records I western Pa hills. Average trips 30 mile or more.little in town time. 5.8 got best average of 13 mpg . With 15.5 out west. 5.0 got average 14.5 mpg w/16.5 out west . All low milage in good tune . It depends where you live . Need to take averages of people in like area to get idea. Good luck on search
