Post 1951 F2 - F1 front fenders

Can anyone tell me if 1951 F2 front fenders will fit a F1?

Yes they'll bolt right on, but the wheel opening radius is about 2" larger than the F1. Cosmetically some guys don't like the looks.

I'm running F3 fenders (same as the F2) on my F1 and with the stock-size 16" wheels and 215-85-16 tires it doesn't look out of proportion in my opinion.

Just stay within the 51/52 model series sheetmetal. 48-50 fenders are different.
