I have a 2000 ford Expedition and I would like to put a Flowmaster Exhaust on. I was looking at them and I think I might go with a 50 Series SUV Exhaust but im not sure how good it will sound. So if you have a Flowmaster wich one do you have and how good does it sound.
Yep all mine, the 40 series does come with a bit of highway growl, or drone as people say. Mine seems to growl about 55mph, by 60-65 it's gone, obviously RPM based... but I'm still young and have never had a V8 vehicle so I'm not bothered by the performance sound.
Well like I sayed it sounds really good and im young to and a performance sound is what I want. What system do you have do you have just a cat back 40 series. is it single exit or does it exit on both sides.
All I did was clamp in a 40 series non delta muffler in place of the stocker, I got single in and single out 2.5" and it fit fine with some additional 2.5" pipe, the flow isn't as long as the stock muffler.

All I care about is proper flow, and not too loud. I'm not going to be cruisin for chicks with my Expy. You gettin' spinners with your muffler? Hahaha.
