won't start--- codes 99 250 7.3
started it this morning and it idled rough then died and hasn't started since.clean fuel and filter, new batteries, not extremly cold (-5).
checked codes with superchips supertuner and shazam
here they are;05-p1316 injector circuit/IDM codes detected
04-p0478 exhaust pres ctrl valve high output
03-p1212 ICP voltage not at expected level
02-p0470 exhaust back pres sensor circuit error
01-p1211 ICP not controllable-pres above/below desired
Now--- what is the ICP and the IDM and where do I go from here. All fuses are ok and all dash lights are normal. I is stumped!!!!

Check your under valve cover gaskets for the IDM code. When i changed my GP's i bumped the valve cover gasket off inside a tiny bit and it barely started. It pulled the IDM code and i went through and took the valve cover off pluged the connector back in and it was fine. The ICP one, are you running the superchips? If you are trying putting it back to stock and running to see if you get the same results. A lot of chips will run the ICP code. Exhaust back pressure code is probably that the sensor is dirty, or you might have the epv unplugged. Try cleaning the tube and the sensor out, carefully.

IDM=Injector Drive Module. It controls your injectors. It sounds like if you just had them done maybe one of your connectors came loose. ICP=Injector Control Pressure.
If it was me i would first check the wiring to the valve covers to insure those are visually okay. Then i would check the HPOP resvior.
Try clearing the codes out and see if you still get the ICP codes after attempting to crank.

O.K. Well not ok. I cleared all the codes then tried to start it. no go. only 1 code reappeared-0470 exhaust sensor. I looked and looked and looked again at all the wires in the valley, around the covers,by the HPOP and all looks well execpt all oily. would I be correct in assuming that if the ICP does not come up to pressure that it will not allow it to start and as for codes 03-p1212 and 01-p1211 which came first the chicken or the egg??
