I need a 6 volt generator for a 50 F1 V8
I'm converting my 50 F1 back to 6 volt (I know I'm bucking the trend!). Any of you guys who are going the other way want to sell me your Genny? It needs to be an original Ford unit for a flathead V8 (the sixes are different). They were 35 amp units.

If you have a generator now and its 12 volt you can buy the parts to convert it back to 6 volt at Yesteryears Ford Parts, Mason Mi. (517) 676-4416. If you don't have a generator at all your best bet is to find a junk yard (look in the Hemmings mag).
