Red face Would u still buy a ford if it was owned by another company?

I ask this question to see how the others of this site would feel if Ford was owned by another company. Personally I would not care as long as the other company DID NOT TOUCH THE TRUCK LINE!! i mean think about it a Ford car with German engineering talk about sweet!!

If it were toyota and ford messing with the truck line, I would buy in a heartbeat. I hope I don't start a war over this. But in my opinion I think both of these trucks are the toughest trucks on the road.

I did that very thing with Dodge after Daimler bought them out and regretted it- so no, I wouldn't do the same with Ford.
I'd just go back to GM- they make a good truck.

I doubt it would ever happen - the Ford family has too much stake in the company.

It (as a company) would either go under, or stay a sole entity - just my humble opinion.

Sure, if Ford were owned by another company, I'd buy another Ford...

but it would be used.

Im a ford guy, but have you checked out the newer toyotas? they are sure improving them alot. If they keep up with their improvements, ford might have a competitor!!

Depends on who bought them out. Somebody like Mercedies buy them out, ok I'd stick with them. Somebody like Renault, on the other hand.........no way..........I've driven some of France's "finest"..........and I was NOT impressed........
