taursu MAF conversion
anybody done one?
my brother in law has a 93 taurus with a dead tranny, motor still runs great.
i was thinking of taking off all of the mass air equipment and converting my 87 with speed density to mass air.
i have a firm understanding, not expert, of the ford efi systems thanks to the Probst book and lots of wrenching. it seems like a straight forward simple swap. at least it does in my head.
i know the intake will need to be changed, the 96 f150 had mass air. so i will have to locate that part or fab one myself. other than that it seems like a great swap.
any input?
