WHERE do I find a stock '54 seat in N. California???
Got some late '70's P.O.S. seat (with high-back head-rests, yecccch!) outa some knda car in my truck, hoping to at least find a stock seat to replace it with. Any ideas who might have one in Northern California? The catalogs all list upholstery kits, or foam kits and so on, bu no actual seats! And this one in my truck is really dang butt-ugly! I hope somebody knows where I can find one! Thanks.

check out the people at glide industry...they make the seat for the truck with a lifetime warranty for about $400-$500. It all depends on what you want to do. The seat is brand new and electric. Also check out bobsf100.com. He suppose to have anything and everything for our trucks. Might have to make a ride but it will be valuable. Myself, I went with an 80's Ford F150 truck and got it out the junkyard for $48 bucks. Have to get the brackets made to bolt to the cab but it still looks good for that money. I would recommend that you decide on either going original or cruising the junkyards for a decent seat. Most guys dont care about the older Ford seats but trying to get an newer model will run you in the 100s. Good luck!!!!
