Where is the air bag module?
I have an 06 Ranger
I was getting ready to replace my stock head unit (radio/cd player)
when a thought dawned on me...
Where is the air bag module, and would it be easy to damage while i'm
back there?

Unless they changed it in 06, the actual airbag control module is under the little hump at the front of the console, under the heater controls, mounted to the transmission hump floor.
When doing your work, be sure to have the battery disconnected, and use caution to avoid damagine wiring / connectors to the module.
