Hit 39K on my 03 FX4 4x4

Well, I have had it 3 years now since new and finally hit 39K....I Pull a toy hauler and use it usually as my Saprano Cruiser...I still have over 60% tred on the Conti tires(drive it in the snow and ice also)...I Have not had any major issues...I replaced the fuel filter around 32K and have the oil changed about every 3-4K...Service manual says if I have a certain Trans I need the fluid changed...Says to call the dealer, I have not yet....Not sure if I have that trans...5.4ltr with the AWD/2WD/4WD/4 LOW selector ****...If I do need it drained should I just have them dump all the drivetrain fluids. IE front/Rear axles and the 4x4 tranfer case????? Any other items I should look at?????

If I'm not mistaken, for my '00, the diffs are supposed to be done at 100K and the Xfer case at 60K ?? Your door pillar should show you what tranny you have - look for the "TR" code and post back what it says. Someone will be able to tell you what it means. Make sure the dealer knows you want the flush and not just the drain also.

I tow a TT with mine and did the tranny at 36K. I'll do the tcase and diffs at 50K.

Everything seems to work just fine.
