A4LD Fluid Change

FYI, to simply drain the pan (I added a drain plug to the transmission pan) on an A4LD and refill takes 4 quarts.

Did you drill and tap it yourself? Any leaks or seepage?

I picked up the drain plug "kit" from Napa. Its a larger hollow bolt that you install in the pan with a small plug that goes into the bolt. It took maybe 15 minutes to install when I had the pan off to replace the solenoids. No leaks at all.

Nope, I just asked if they had a drain plug kit and thats what they gave me. I can certainly ask them next time I am in. I can also take a picture of the pan next time I am out at my truck.
