I picked up the drain plug "kit" from Napa. Its a larger hollow bolt that you install in the pan with a small plug that goes into the bolt. It took maybe 15 minutes to install when I had the pan off to replace the solenoids. No leaks at all.
Nope, I just asked if they had a drain plug kit and thats what they gave me. I can certainly ask them next time I am in. I can also take a picture of the pan next time I am out at my truck.
Yup, it makes things a LOT easier. Next on my list is an external transmission filter and bypassing/removing the internal one. Then I don't even have to open up the trans for fluid and filter changes
