I got a pair of cliffords for 50 bucks from ebay. But i have to weld up the flange to same thickness as the intake manifold so it seals right that is my winter project then im having a H-pipe then a 2-2/12in inlet to 1-3in outlet hooker aero flow muffler..
I got the 3006cyl headers and 4 barrel intake from Clifford. What they told me is with dual exhaust makes it quiker of the line and with single gives you more top end speed. I used to do alot of highway driving so I went with single.
I am running a Hedman on my mildly built 300 six. The truck gained performance throughout the rpm range plus another 800-1000 rpms of useful power. And not to mention I picked up a few extra mpg!
Are these headers recommended for the Fuel Injected 300? I've got an 87 5-150 and its got exhaust issues. when I do the rebuild in the spring, I want to start at the headers and work back, but want to make sure whatever I do is compatible with the computer/emmissions, etc...
