Long time no see
Well it has been a few months since I was last on the FTE boards but today I have reason to come back!! I just purchaced a 1998 E-350 club wagon with the 6.8 VEEEEE-10 
As some of you may remember a while back I went over to the diesel side of the world and all in all I really like the power but I miss the 4500 RPM of a v-10.... Anyway the new van will be for hauling kids from the wifes daycare around and loading all the guys up into to go pheasant hunting next week. Not a streach for the ol v-10 but should be fun..

i wish you good luck with the new to you beast
but have one thing of advise, check the torque on those spark plugs, very carefully with a inch pound wrench to proper specs, as those are the early style heads on that beast and you for sure wouldn't want a problem on the road or when the other half is driving it.

Will do. That is the only hesitation I had buying this thing. Ive read all the horor storys of people having problems with the early models. I dont usually like to buy used but for what this thing is going to be used for I just couldnt justify new.
But thanks again and Ill be looking into that this weekend
