Ford Bold Moves Episode 17

Go to the Ford Bold Moves website and check out episode 17. It's about the new Super Duty. Yes it's a marketing video, but it's something else to look at while we wait for our new '08's to show up.

The marketing program is working on me. Each time I see that beautiful truck, I want it more. Everything's pointing to a home-run for Ford with this one...

The look is growing on me, but I still hate the headlights.

I hear you. It's literally the only thing about the design that still bothers me.

I want to see one in person, maybe that will change my thoughts on the front end, because I'm still not sold on the look.

Just wait till you drive one; you'll forget about the headlights real quick.

Love the truck, hate the headlights...

The step and bed extender are cool, the power telescopic mirrors cool but I'm sure not a cheap fix when they break.... I hope they still offer a manual telescopic mirror..

Nice vid. But I do have to say that Ford/LM really need to get a new marketing company. Bold Moves??? How lame is that?

I think the step and bed extender look cheap even if they are functional. I like the power telescoping mirrors, I said that should have been done years ago when they first came out with them. I agree on the 1 more thing to fix though, but I doubt they will get as much use as a power window, so they might be fine.

function and durability matter over looks. and the step and bed extender are 2 more things over the competition. seems like its only ford and the japs that ever offer anything new to the market(ford came up big with the factory option trailor brake controller, for example).

I agree Ry_Trapp0, but I don't think those things compare in quality to the aftermarket from what I have seen , but time will tell.

Also others have mentioned the step as being a liability issue. Time will tell on that also.

The brake controller was an awesome idea, and I would like to see on in action someday, but no one around here that I personally know has bought a new ford with that option.

Im sold on it. This will be my next truck. Hopefully they didnt screw up the 6.4L, i find it hard they will with all the problems from the 6.0L.

I already have this truck set as my background. :O)
