No need to filter?

No need to filter?
I always filtered my oil extremely well before reacting, but I decided to try a batch with just a kitchen strainer. I strained it and it reacted fine, and the bio was just as clean as any other I've ever made, the junk was all in the glycerin, has anyone else noticed this?

That's all I do. I started with a kitchen strainer but got tired of emptying it so much so I made a strainer that cover's the top of a 55gal drum out of some window screen. I have my hose set up over the drum and as the screen clog's in the middle the oil just flow's to the outsides and continues to filter.
I get alot of crispy's because I use 55gal drums at my resturants and pump with a 2" trash pump. I pump them all the way to the bottom because it's easier to get rid of the crispy's at home off the drum head screen than to clean the drum out on site. I also have lids on my drums to keep the weather out. (rain, snow, ect.)
