All FTE Users please read, LVEILLON needs your prayers.

Lane Veillon wan involved in a serious helicopter crash not long ago.
All 3 people on board survived, but Lane is in critical condition.
He is expected to make a full recovery and fly again.
I and others had been antipating meeting him at SEMA, and when I didn't hear from him, it made me wonder what was up.

The following is s statement from his wife, Greta:

Hi Vic, This is Greta. Lane's wife. Lane was in a very serious helicopter crash while filming a new commercial for ExxonMobil about a month ago. He is in very serious condition, but is expected to make a full recovery and be able to fly again. He found a Mustang and had it for 3 days before the accident. The stunt helicopter that he was test flying had not been through its Annual and he lost tail rotor. He had to set down in small lake and the other two people on board nearly drowned. Everyone survived, but Lane got the the worst. The others just had minor cuts and bruises. He isn't allowed to have his laptop yet and has bugged me since he woke up to come and post something. Would it be possible for you to post something for me because I don't know how to on this site? He was working on something for the site that I see several messages about. Something to do with Airbox and Zoodad. If you can't post something I can try if you have time to tell me how. He was really looking forward to SEMA, but we are just glad he will be around to make it next year hopefully.

Thanks
Greta Veillon

Lane and Greta:
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like he is made out of some tuff material, he'll make it easier with all our thoughts ….got mine.

I know loosing a tail rotor is one very scary thing, and little to know time to react, being over water could have been the thing that changed his fate, to the good.

Arrow Was wondering . . .

The professor, I was missing the "give and take" w/ him on his scientific experiment on the zoodad mod. He felt it was going to take a while and wasn't going to post until he finished it.

Well clearly there was a reason he has been delayed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Really glad to hear he will be fine, although over an extended period. Will keep the faith while he recovers from his serious mishap.

Take care Lane and keep the faith . . .

Please pass along my prayers as well for a speedy recovery.

All of a sudden, issues and concerns with our trucks just don't seem so bad or that big of a deal any more?

Get well soon Lane.

Vic, please post more info as it comes. We will be thinking of him.

Did I see this accident on the news sunday or monday? For some reason I think I've seen something about a chopper crash into water.

He is obviously a blessed man.
