Radiator hose problem

Radiator hose problem
Your help would be greatly appreciated. I need a radiator hose that has one end 1 3/4" and the other end 1 7/8" also another one that is 1 3/4" on one end and the other end 1 5/8". I,ve gone around to 3 places and nobody can make one up for me. Do you know of any place that will. Keeping the cooling system is very important to me since I plan on driving the truck from California to New Hampshire and I just had an expensive problem with my Honda because of the radiator hose leaking. So cost doen't matter just want the best out there. What do you recommend?

I seem to recall seeing flex hoses with different sizes on each end but I'm not sure what those sizes were. Check with NAPA. They may have some specs on hoses in a book somewhere. If you have the bucks those ribbed radiator hoses Ax referred to are cool...

I believe NAPA and Auto Zone both sell plastic adapters, a piece with one size on one end and another on the other. AZ also sells "Universal" flex hoses with different ends, but it takes a patient counterman to figure out what they are.

coolflex hoses come with the adaptors needed. They are basically reducers that you glue inside the furnjished hose.

Post the lengths each needs to be and I'll have my son look it up. He works at AZ and has used these on some of his projects. He knows how to use the catalogs.

I went through the same search a few years ago and I even made a posting on it way back when. I had to use a reducer bushing on my lower hose.
Napa carries rubber hose reducer bushings. Here are the P/N's;
NBH-900 from hose 1.5 to 1.25
NBH-901 from hose 1.75 to 1.5
NBH-902 from hose 2.0 to 1.75
NBH-903 from hose 2.25 to 2.0
NBH-904 from hose 2.5 to 2.25
NBH-905 from hose 3.0 to 2.5
