Inline 6 header

I need advice on getting a cheap (0-200$) header for my 1985 f-150 4.9l 6, and were i can get it. i would perfer a single outlet, so any advice would be appritiated.Also is there any other cheap up grades i can do for more power?

summit, has hedman headers for 169$ but no go on a single outlet

I can't recall any of the header offerings for the 300 being single outlet.

I used Dynomax headers, I think they were under $150 and they sealed fine.

I have heard of quite a few people using split manifolds from efi engines . they are cheap in the salvage yards in Arkansas. about 30 or 40 dollars a set. As long as you are not modifing to extremly, I have heard these are great.

Thanks for the help i think i am just going to order a hedman header with a Y pipe. also does anybody have a set of hedman's, if so how well do they work/sound?

i have a 93 300 with efi and the only headers i can find that fit are hooker, anyone know of any others?

hedmens will fit, im running them. just be weary if u have AIR injection at the head.

i was just on summit 5 min ago and could only find hookers for my 87efi with 4wd...at 370 bucks! could somebody point me in the right direction id like to find a set without taking out a mortgage to buy them thanks in advance...

Just wondering if anybody knows if clifford performance makes a header for the 300 6, i have heard of people using them but i cant find one on the net for the 6, also can anybody point me to a Y-pipe for hedman headers?

www.cliffordperformance.net they make a few different ones but are a lil more expensive

clifford performance headers are a shorty design and are a "replacement" for the efi manifolds. id get hedmen or dynomax header...

Does anybody no if i can use a header for a 4X4 thats made for a 2wd, i am looking at the headman single outlet 4.9l header, also has anyone ever used pacesetter headers. Also just wondering how much everyone else spend on the exhuast sytems for there trucks.
