Yes, she was sitting for a number of years in a barn in NC, and not running when I bought her. had her towed back to GA, where I and another mechanic worked on the distributor and wiring. Starts and runs fine...I want to keep the truck looking "salty" but with a beautiful running engine. Redo the bed, add a tailgate, and that's it.

1947 798T Flathead V8, 4 Speed Trans, 2 Speed Rearend

Loreauville, LA. Bought at auction 3 years ago in Ohio. Estimated 35,000 miles. Came with stake sides & grain (solid) sides...it dumps! It was shop kept but has been sitting out since I bought it...didn’t have the shop space for it. Finally rebuilt carb, replaced fuel pump, rewired & converted to 12v, added electronic ignition, electric wipers, replaced Master and all wheel cylinders, added pusher electric fan (just in case during parades), sanded & resealed the bed & stakes, replaced headliner & gave her a wax. Need to drop PTO & repair/replace a gear. Plan on running it as.

Getting unloaded from Ohio.

On the farm

Moved to a friend’s shop to start work

Electric wipers

Alternator & Electronic Ignition

Gage cluster rebuilt

Loreauville Mardi Gras Parade

Home, Sweet Home!

Thanks! We’ve been wondering what the colors were. Might need to get a little for touchups.

Will do! I can tell you PTO turns shaft & pump valve are built into cylinder.

1935 Ford Model 51 1-1/2 ton stakebed

I found this beauty a few years ago, not running and in great shape.
I rebuilt the distributor and the generator, and replaced the starter and engine area wiring. I rebuilt the heads and replaced the carburetor.
I rebuilt the fuel system. The engine has been painted with original Ford green. I rebuilt the radiator, and replaced all the hoses. The engine bay is real pretty.
I replaced the clutch, and am in the process of replacing the brakes.
I replaced the wood stakebed with a 10' custom built metal one. I added a tigerwood bed with stainless steel slats.
It is all original, except for the stakebed.
The body is exceptional, but needs paint.
It runs and drives.
It is for sale, PM me for any details or questions.

It is for sale. Make me an offer.
