Adam,
Do you have an IFS on it? Reason I ask is: I considered doing the same to my '59 F-100, but with the stock front suspension (ok, I had the springs de-arched a bit that lowered it about 1.5 inches in the front and 2.5" in the rear), but the ride is so rough as it is, that I was afraid that 17's or 18's with a 40 or 45 profile tire would ride even rougher! Granted, it would look AWESOME, but I plan to use this truck frequently and want to enjoy driving in it.
King's choice, so it's up to you, but for me, without a nice, smooth riding IFS, I'm sticking with my 255/70X15's.
Pix in a few weeks... I'm anxious, too.... Have fun in the meantime!

i didnt really think about how rough the ride was gonna be... ive still got the stock susp. on the front. the rough ride really doesnt bother me as another of my cars is totally slammed wiht pretty much no susp. at all... this'll feel like a caddy
