Who's Chapter ?

Question,
Its nice to unite Western Canada with a combined Alberta /BC chapter, but why does BC also have its own chapter?

Back when I was an administrator it was requested by the FTE BC residents to have their own chapter instead of the combined chapter.
You will see it was created around June 2005 just before I stepped down.

It was always the plan for each province to eventually have its own chapter.
Alberta/BC and Sask/Man where created to build a large enough base to interact then some some day ..seperate to on their own.

The shift over of all the BC related topics from the combined forum never got done and the BC name dropping from the combined forum didn't happen either.

I got quite a few of the obvious ones (dated back a few months) done by June 16th 2005 but that was it.

That's the official explanation ..right from the horse's mouth

I've been wondering that too. See, I like those folks from west of the rockies, but they are . . .let's just say . . a little different.

Big whitetails for sure. One day I will make it there for those. You just gotta find your little hunk in BC that suits you. There are very few places that I can afford or want to live in this province. If I do move, my wife and I would seriously consider the other side of the rockies. We do miss our Lethbridge days

Lethbridge is nice for sure. I do hate the cost of living here too, it is lots, but what do you do right!

At least you are where the gas is cheaper, the grocerys are cheaper, you can get stuff to you in a day, but it will cost you 60000000000000000000000 dollars to buy a half of a duplex Pros and cons I guess.

You forgot a couple more zeros there bchunter and our gas is just about as expensive as you fellers, it is the eastern boys that get all the breaks. BC is worth every penny to live there, totally different lifestyles.

Actually Eastern Canada is getting pelted for high fuel prices as well.

Central Canada = Ontario & Quebec is where the low prices are.

68 cents a litre near T.O.

I was talking with the daughter of the owner of our local pump station and she said that bc will always be at least 11 cents more then Ontario for "shipping". What a crock. I was happy to see our prices go under a buck. Oh well, let's see if Ol Steveo will remember us westerners now that he is at the helm.
