An accurate assessment. It turned into an assault on Gary. His character is important but not the first issue IMHO. He should have allowed someone to proof-read his response. Whether intended or not, he came off a little high and mighty. It was not difficult to predict it would cause the weaker minded to pile on the character assault.

I prefer the threads over on the RRT now, they are sticking to the tech stuff.
Some really nice pix from Phat.

Dewayne, dont know if you were following the Aerostar thread but it looks like the Dakota is too wide for my 46.
Its narrowing down to a Camaro/Firebird with Z28/TA options or a Jag so far.
I might also look at a mid 80's Toyota p/u which was mentioned.

This is getting frustrating, seems no one builds the 42-7 very much.

I was following the Aerostar thread but I am not used to the layout of the other boards, so it's a pain if I don't tag it while I'm there. I have to say FTE has the others whipped bad when it comes to forum layout. No way to get lost here. Last comment I read was concerning the Aerostar ride height. That would surely eliminate it for some folks. Others may prefer it for that reason. I will re-find it.

I think the Camaro-Bird IFS is clearly a good option for those who want to slam their truck. It is heavy enough and a decent overall choice (you know how I feel about that GM stuff too) Biggest drawback would be my welding ability. If I installed one in my truck, I'd advise you not to ride with me

JAG option also heavy enough. Last part I bought for a JAG was a distributor cap over 10 years ago. 80 bucks! Ouch. Whats a front end rebuild kit gonna cost?

Just dawned on me how off topic we're getting. Time for a new thread.
