Thats pretty good. A few years ago a road tractor that was sponsered by CFI, it was a T2000 KW with a KT Cummins in it, broke the land speed record for a tractor with a single engine. Well It was at the MId America Trucking show and I worked at the local Kenworth dealer. I got to drive the truck around the parking lot. That thing was geared high. I could have out ran it on foot for the first couple hundred feet. They said that they run the truck for . I think a mile, they pass a marker and time it for the next mile. Then they come back and take a average on the two runs. It was pretty neat.
It was the Red Racer in the HH2 class. Set the record in 99. It may have been broke by now.
