Need Spray Bedliner Advice

2007 F350 King Ranch PSD Crew Cab FX4 Long Box True Blue/Beige

I had the Xtreme sprayliner on my other trucks but the local accessory shop no longer does them. My X-treme was supposedly just like Line-X and worked good for me. I have never seen the Rhino other than on TV but am open to it. Which is better, Line-X or Rhino?

Rhino is thicker (1/4") than Line-X and tends to be a bit softer, but stays nicer looking if you don't gouge or otherwise harm it. It tends to keep it's gloss, in otherwords.

Line-X is the way to go if you really use the bed.

Line-X. Hands down. I've had it on three previous vehicles, and it will eventually find its way onto my current Super Duty.

The only "failure" of the liner that I know of first hand was in a friend's truck (carpenter, by trade). The company honored the lifetime warranty without a question. And, to my knowledge, he continued to haul around all of his tools & equipment in that truck for 11 or 12 years without any other problems with the liner.

On the little known side...several branches of the military have authorized & been using Line-X for bomb/exposion blast mitigation lining in buildings & vehicles, for salt water protection on subs & ships, and a varity of other uses. That says a lot, in my opinion.

I have read in other posts that if you have a Line-X liner and it gets damaged, any Line-X shop will honor the warranty and make the repair.

If you have a Rhino liner, you must use the shop who installed it, to make the repair. If the shop is out of business, you are out of warranty.

I dont believe that is true. LineX warrenty is honored in all states.
If your dealer goes out of buisness they will honor your warrenty at another dealer. Here is a link, follow the nationwide link on this page, and it tells you such.

I have rhino, it's softer and things seem to stay in place better and not slide around, but I do have A few goughes in it, I think the line-x wouldn't have gotten damaged as easy.

I think you misread the F250tuff post as he was saying this as well . . .

It was the other liner he felt would be an issue.

I only have experience with Line-X. I have slid some pretty heavy stuff over it and it is some dang tough stuff. So far i see one little mark on the bed floor but it didn't cut all the way thru the liner to the bed.

I would diffently get Line-X again.

I have to say I am sold on Rhino liners. It is much thicker and seems to absorb shocks much better than my cousins Line-X liner. Rhino liner feels much stickier also, and sure keeps things from slipping around. Just got rid of my 2000 Ram and the bed still looks like the day I had it sprayed. Garden hose usually is all it takes, maybe a little car wash soap and a scrub brush on a broom stick. Just had my 07 sprayed, $420.00 out the door, as a comparison for any one interested.

Later.
