I'm planning on installing the Daystar 2" poly blocks to my front springs on my 2004 F-250 2WD Crewcab. My question is can I stay with the stock shocks? Daystar told me no, but for the life of me, I cannot find a stock + 2" application for my truck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Yes this is a Daystar 2" leveling kit for an '04 2WD F250. I guess I'll try to stay with the stock shocks and see how things work while I continue to do research on the issue. Thanks for the help!
I put a Day star System on my 1998 F-250 and used the stock hight shocks I purchased Pro Comp 9000 they were too stiff! The one thing that was a problem was the ball joints wore out at about 4500 miles after I installed the Day star System. Please keep your attention on this! I put 33" tall tires on it and it looked good.
I just ordered the Bilstein's for stock height. I got all four for $259 and it should be here this Tuesday. I'll report on how they ride once I get them installed. My truck currently has 49K miles on it and I believe the shocks on there right now are OEM Rancho b/c of the FX4 package. So I am thinking it's time to change them.
