What kind of spacer are you looking for? Not as familiar with the 78-79 vintage as others but it would help to knwo where this spacer is supposed to go or what its for.

Thanks for the welcome,
The spacer goes between the top of the altenator and the block, I made one and put in there for now. But the mounting bracket is worn out as well, so am trying to find a complete kit and repair it, so i dont have probs down the road.
