Ford provides the OEM parts at a premium. If you want good parts for the money you have the aftermarket brakes. I would not get anything less than lifetime warranty brake parts, or parts with the longest warranty you can find. Pay the money for good parts, otherwise you will get poor quality parts that perform at a level well below comfort level.

Bendix or Raybestos are good quality name brand brakes. The better grade of store brand brakes are usually quite good too. I work for Advance auto parts, and I like the Wearever "Gold" pretty well. They include the shims which help prevent squeaking.

I have the PowerSlots with extreme duty pads. I got them from BroncoGraveyard and highly recommend them. They are a little pricey, but I no longer have warping problems.

My advice, don't go to China-zone. Go to another store and don't buy the cheapest. get the mid-grade. Buying the best may be only marginally better performance, but larger price.
