brake bleeding trouble on ole 64
Hi I'm back with another problem. All new brake system from master cylinder to wheel cylinders. Used teflon tape on all threads and have spotted no leaks. We have pumped nearly two large bottles of fluid through the system and still can not get a consistant pedal. We can get a pressure build up after a few pumps but it goes away after a very short time. Started from back and worked forward many times. Still no luck any ideas? I have not put new brake shoes on truck but there was still a decent amount of material left. Also I have noticed no leaking from the drums.
Is there a secret to bleeding the master cylinder that I could have skipped?
thanks for the help,Eric

I forgot to bench bleed the master cylinder. But what is even more painfully obvious now is I forgot to screw the brake shoes all the way out! I am glad you can learn from asking questions-there maybe hope for me yet!
Once again thanks for the help,Its always appreciated,Eric
