F250 lift on an f150

would it work? Would it be like upgrading the suspension? I have no idea. I'd like to upgrade the suspension to make it a little more sturdy and hopefully be able to support the weight of a 460 after swapping out my 351m. Any comments or advice? Knowledgeable dudes.

4wd I assume? The (your) 4wd F150 has a coil spring/radius arm front suspension, a 4wd F250 has leaf spring front suspension. So NO a F250 front lift kit will not work.

As far as the back end you can get F250 leaf springs and bolt them right in. Even bring the 8 lug Dana 60 that is bolted to it along.

And then swap out the complete 8 lug steering knuckles/spindles and all attached parts and get some 2wd F250 heavy duty weight rated front coil springs and maybe that would work to sturdy the front end up?

Other wise good shocks, maybe even a duel front kit, sway bar kit front and rear, and drive it.

You could adapt F250 suspension, but it is a lot of work. The front is leaf springs on a 250 and coil springs on a 150/100. And the steering is different too. You can get heavier duty springs for either, so really not worth the swap just for that.

Unless it is a supercab. Supercab F150 4x4 has F250 suspension front/rear

You are right Brian, a 4wd F150 Super Cab ONLY is the only 5 lug straight axle with a front leaf spring suspension.

Unless you get a F250 Super Cab with 8 lugs axles then of course it has leaf spring front end.

I have only ever seen ONE in a JY, if the OP could find one I guess he could transfer all the front leaf stuff onto his 1/2 frame. But I do not know if his frame will accept the front leaf rear shackle brackets?
