Exclamation Obsolete Parts

Does anyone know of a good place to get obsolete Ford Truck parts from?
I need to find a part that has a part number D5Z733A12A. It is a "Quarter Window hinge retainer- plastic" for my supercab. I need 4 (four) of them. I have also been told that this same window hinge was used on 1972-1980 Pinto's and Mercury Bobcat station wagons.

You can give Wesley's a try wesleyobsoleteparts.com but those hinges are gonna be a tough find, a junkyard is probably going to be your best bet.

You copied it wrong...that's an incomplete part number!

Jermafenser, I think the part number I found is correct because I gave the number to Green Sales in cincinatie and they said they had one, but I need four ( 2 per window). I could be wrong, but if one place found them with that number then wouldent the other places if they had them? I'm not trying to sound like a smart ***, If you know somthing I don't then by all means I want to know what you have to say.

The part # I came up with is totally different:
Retainer, quarter window hinge, F100-350 supercab
74 D2FZ-73302A12-A
75-up D5FZ-73302A12-A

You originally asked this question on 9/16/2009.

I got involved and asked jermafenser to scan and post the parts catalog illustration of the movable quarter window which he did.

I then looked up and posted the part number...then searched for it. I also gave you the Pinto/Bobcat info.

Since you have a 1979 Super Cab, you need 4 of D5FZ73302A12A / Fits: 1975/79. There is no such part number of D5Z733A12A

GREEN SALES had ONE.

NO Ford Dealer, NO other obsolete parts vendor has any.

I can search EVERY Ford & Lincoln/Mercury dealers parts inventories, all the obsolete parts vendors inventories using two online parts locator websites.

So when I say NO ONE ELSE HAS ANY, I'm not just a whistlin' Dixie.

clips for quarter window.

I know this post is 11 years old, but after reading the comments from the number dummy, I had to look myself. Dennis Carpenter 704-786-8139 has 1211 of these. D5FZ-73302A12-A. I can't say they had or didn't have these when he was writing his reply, but they have them now as of 02-08-2017.
my source, www.partsvoice.com it includes Green Sales.
