I have a white '79 just like his, except mine's a shortbed. I'm wondering what Uncle Jesse named his truck on The Dukes of Hazzard. If not I may have to call it Uncle Jesse.

 

Well im a Dukes fan got like every season on dvd and all the episodes i have seen he dont call it anything Bo and Luke or Daisy would just ask hey Uncle Jesse could we take your pickup or something like that but they said pickup

 

I'm with Dustin. I watch WAY too much Dukes and have never heard that truck called by name.

 

yeah its just "Uncle Jesse's truck" .........funny thing is, i noticed a couple months ago while watching the dukes on spike tv, that they used several types of trucks for Jesse's truck....in one shot it was a shortbed F-100, i had a good clean view of the F-100 badge, shortbed and the five lug wheel, a little bit later in the same episode they are hauling azz around Hazard and i noticed the wheels were now 8 lugs and suddenly it was a longbed F-250.....plus the hubcaps change, sometimes it the "5 star" caps, sometimes its the little round caps, but mostly it dont have any caps....ok maybe i watch the dukes a little too much......

what really gets my goat is that ol ***** nelson was driving a dodge in the movie, they had almost every vehicle right except for that, and i was really looking forward to seeing what kind of Ford he would be in...

 

That's blasphemy using a dodge truck rather than a Ford. LOL!!!!

 

all i can remember is the orange bikini in the movie.

 

did anybody see the ford in the background when the dukes dropped off the girls at the fat guy wearing underwear house. nice looking ford back there!!!

 

I was just getting ready to say, that I only remeber one part of that movie...When Bo and Luke walked into the girls dorm on the unrated dvd.....AND THAT SWEET AZZ FORD AT THE FAT DUDE'S HOUSE. I think I'd rather get me some of THAT tail pipe off that thing as to go back to to dorm!!! Damn that thing was nice!

 

Uncle Jessie's truck never had a name.

 

Well, I suppose it'll be "Uncle Jesse" then.
