can i borrow your scan tool / tuner?

the check engine light is on on my '03 7.3 diesel.

do anyone of you have the ability to read check engine codes? i am in the peterborough/weare/concord area.

i will take it to the garage tomorrow if i can't find out what the codes are tonight.

I am not in the area ,but I believe you can go to Autozone and they will read them for free.

autozone and regular obdii scan tools don't pull all the codes that diesels can generate.

My OBDII tool can pull diesel codes...it was 60 bucks at wal-mart...Made by Innova. Not a bad little unit...The closest I come to concord though is The tech college in ManchVegas...that's about it though.
