dual tanks
was out to the junkyard this mornin and didnt notice til a friend that was with me pointed it out, but it was a 89 ranger with a 6 cylinder 5-speed that had dual tanks, i havent ever noticed those on a ranger before, are they rare or what? they looked to be a factory rig, also it was a long bed 4x4

I've seen a couple, but they are fairly rare. There is a guy on CarDomain named 882tank who has..... ....yes a 1988 Long Box w/2 tanks! I'm pretty sure there are a couple guys over on TRS that have them as well. I had a 1984 2wd regular cab long box 2.2l diesel with dual tanks, it would go so far on a fill that if you didn't drive it very often the fuel would go bad!
